Tainan City is partnering with the Fulbright Foundation for the first time through the English Teaching Assistant (ETA) program, aiming to enhance students' English learning in local schools. The Fulbright ETA program is designed to foster mutual understanding between the United States and other countries by involving native English speakers in teaching, thereby improving local students' English skills and their knowledge of the U.S. Additionally, the program helps U.S. scholars improve their language abilities and deepen their understanding of the host country. This initiative not only broadens the scope of English learning but also promotes cross-cultural exchange. An-Ding Elementary School is honored to have successfully applied for this program, and for the coming year, an international teacher will be joining us to support our children's English development.
